I truly can't imagine how different this time would have been without each of the extraordinary people that God brought to this first retreat. It was a time to connect, a time to heal, a time to recharge, a time to unplug and a time to plant a flag in our lives for what matters most.
God showed up in a mighty way and no doubt, will do amazing things on the other side of the time we invested together. One of the guys said, "this was life changing for me"! The connection was so natural and the time was filled with tremendous growth in our faith.
This was just the confirmation that we sought, to see people come closer to their savior and leave with a "peace which transcends all understanding", as well as a newfound joy about what lies ahead.
I pray that each of us have come home to be better husbands, fathers, employees, brothers, leaders and followers of Christ. AMEN!!
